I believe that's probably why the city he built was lost -- it was abandoned and forgotten in a rebuke to "that criminal." Ankhenaten wasn't even known to history until his name was re-discovered in the 18th century.
National Geographic reports it's now been found, and archeologists are hopeful some of the mysteries of the pharaoh's disappearance from history as well the disappearance of his city:

Another Race Hoax: Black Student Admits Writing "Anti-Black" Graffiti at Albion College; Albion College Says It's Time for Whites to Stop Being So Racist

Albion College and the Albion Department of Public Safety say a student is responsible for racist graffiti found in a dorm last weekend.
Albion police brought the 21-year-old Black male in for questioning on April 6, according to Chief Scott Kipp. The student admitted to creating most of the graffiti, and video evidence from Albion’s Campus Safety Department confirms the statements made by the student, Kipp said.
The student was released after questioning, Kipp said. Once the investigation is complete, the information will be submitted to the Calhoun County Prosecutor’s Office for any charges related to the incident, he said.
Albion College immediately announced that even though this supposedly anti-black graffiti was written by a male black student to provoke hatred and racism (and potentially violence) against whites, the college is going to demand that everyone go through the usual Black Lives Matter "racial healing" protocols.
"We know the acts of racism that have occurred this week are not about one particular person or one particular incident. We know that there is a significant history of racial pain and trauma on campus and we are taking action to repair our community,†college officialstweeted. "We will change and heal together as a community, because we are committed to doing the work.â€
College officials are encouraging members of the community to care for one another and lean on faculty, staff and community members who are supporting them, according to atweet.
Question: if a white student wrote anti-white hate graffiti in an effort to gin up hatred againstblacks, do you think the school would be bending over backwards to "listen" to complaints from whites, and to "support" them in their "healing?"
Do you think this attempt to provoke racial hatred and possibly violence against blacks would be hand-waved away with the claim that, "Well, you know, there really is anti-white racism from blacks, so let's just pretend this was a real example of that?"

AUTHENTICATING THE LAPTOP
DailyMail.com commissioned cyber forensics experts at Maryman & Associates to examine the hard drive to determine its authenticity.
The firm's founder, Brad Maryman, was a 29-year veteran of the FBI, served as a Chief Information Security Officer and founded the bureau's cyber forensics unit. His partner, Dr. Joseph Greenfield, is an associate professor at the University of Southern California and helped write their degree program in intelligence and cyber operations.
After an extensive analysis of the hard drive, Greenfield and Maryman produced a report for DailyMail.com detailing their findings.
Using the same forensic tools as federal and state law enforcement in criminal investigations, they found a total of 103,000 text messages, 154,000 emails and more than 2,000 photos.
-They found emails for multiple accounts on the laptop dating back to 2009, and other data which 'appears to be related to Mr. Biden' between 2016 and 2019.
-The report's findings were consistent with the known timeline for the hard drive.A Wilmington, Delaware computer store work order with Hunter's signature shows he left his 2017 MacBook Pro laptop there on April 12, 2019.
-The Maryman & Associates report said the original 'Macintosh HD' drive was created on March 28, 2018
-Hunter's iCloud email address was added to the laptop's system on October 21 2018, as well as his work email at his firm Rosemont Seneca on February 2 2019.
-The same day, a Gmail address he used to log onto sex cam sites, and another personal Gmail address belonging to Hunter, were also added.
- Beau Biden's old Gmail account was added on February 7 2019.
- Emails addressed to Hunter's various email addresses dating from December 2009 to December 2020 were found on the system.
- An iPad with the name 'Hunter's iPad' and three email addresses associated with the Biden family was backed up on the laptop and on iCloud in January 2019 and again a month later.
- Greenfield found 818 call logs in this iPad backup with timestamps from June 2016 to February 2019.
- There were 8,942 entries in the iPad's contacts book, created between April 2016 and January 2019.
-In February 2019 an iPhone XS was also synced with the laptop. Its serial number was consistent with the timestamps of the data on the phone.
In conclusion, 'The operating system timestamps appear to be authentic, and no evidence was found to suggest that the timestamps or data were altered or manufactured,' the report said. 'No indications were found that would suggest the data was manufactured.'

Hunter did come under investigation after he dropped off a rental car in Prescott, Arizona, leaving behind a crack pipe and white powder, his drivers license and his late brother Beau's attorney general badge.
Hunter allegedly used a fake name to call the Hertz rental the next day to tell them he left the keys in the car's gas tank compartment.
The police report said they called in the FBI and Hunter was 'located by Secret Service' and found to be 'well.'
Prescott Police Department said they couldn't find fingerprints on the pipe. It is unclear whether the department tried to extract DNA from the pipe.
Despite being dubbed the state's 'foremost pot prohibitionist', County Attorney Sheila Polk declined to prosecute.
That's not the only service the Secret Service provided to him, despite the fact that he wasn't supposed to have the government paying for an armed babysitter squad.
The Secret Service also bodyguarded him like a rapper's flunkies while he went on a drugs-and-hooker spree:
Texts from earlier that year show Hunter was being guarded by a Secret Service agent while he went on a week-long drug and prostitute binge in a Hollywood hotel.
The texts raise questions for the federal agency, which has claimed that no Bidens received protection in 2018.
Either the Secret Service's manpower was being embezzled by the Biden Crime Family, or else we have another case of official records going missing when people try to check up on Hunter Biden.
The laptop demonstrates conclusively that Hunter Biden was a drug addict when he filled out his gun purchase background check forms, falsely declaring that he was not a drug user.
This is a federal crime -- or at least it would be for anyone not part of the Democrat totalitarian state.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden has signed (most likely unconstitutional) gun control laws into being with a (likely illegal) executive order. He continues claiming to create new gun laws while his Department of Justice refuses to enforce existing laws against the criminal pervert Hunter Biden.
And don't forget: The Secret Service attempted to confiscate the gun purchase forms to protect Biden, and pro-Biden Deep Staters in the DOJ covered it up and hid it from Trump, to make sure it wouldn't become a campaign issue.
If President Joe Biden is serious about "commonsense gun safety measures," he'd call for the arrest of his son, Hunter, immediately.

Good morning kids. Friday and the weekend is here. It's all a joke. A sick fucking joke. A crude, crooked, venal pervert who now has the cognitive ability of a mercury-laden mollusk is emitting the most alarming noises from his flapping bivalve. No, not the fact that he called the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms "the AFT" (although considering the anti-Semitic Marxist blood-libel spewed by AFT "kapo" Randi Weingarten, it's kinda-sorta in the ballpark [Coors Field peut-etre]), but that his masters' voice is declaring things that have come closer than this nation has come in 160 years to touching off a hot civil war that will make the thuggery and mayhem that burned out dozens of urban areas last summer look like a joke.
Quoth he: "But I also -- today, we’re taking steps to confront not just the gun crisis, but what is actually a public health crisis. Nothing -- nothing I’m about to recommend in any way impinges on the Second Amendment. They’re phony, arguments suggesting that these are Second Amendment rights at stake from what we’re talking about.â€
Later in the remarks, Biden added, "For a fraction of the cost of gun violence, we can save lives, create safe and healthy communities, and build economies that work for all of us, and save billions of American dollars.â€
After what our country has been through over the last year with the endless [Chinese] COVID-19 lockdown orders, the words "public health crisis†are very ominous indeed. Tin-pot dictators in governors’ mansions across the county have used those words to impose the most draconian -- not to mention unconstitutional and extra-legislative -- regulations our nation has ever seen...
...I fear it’s only a matter of time before someone gets the idea to regulate gun ownership by declaring a public health emergency. Is that what Biden’s up to with the language above? Time will tell, but don’t be surprised if whoever is running the show at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue tries to make an end-run around Congress to push through emergency orders to confiscate guns from those deemed a "health risk,†beginning with anyone who attended the Trump rally on Jan. 6. My firearms were, unfortunately, lost in a tragic boating accident, so I don’t have to worry about it, but you definitely should.
We can and no doubt will debate the myriad factors, cultural, moral and spiritual that some feel might preclude ordinary American citizens from actually being pushed to the point of grabbing that fire hose and giving that parched, desiccated Tree of Liberty a good long drink. And that is exactly what the Enemy within has always banked on. But we can never know the future and history is unpredictable. Just as we could never have imagined the events of 2020 that culminated in Black Wednesday, it would be foolish on anyone's part, us or them, to be so cocksure of what will or will not happen.
Meanwhile, in another part of the forest, the junta just sent two almost inconceivably disastrous signals telling the dark age death cult throwbacks in Tehran, and in Turtle Bay, to commence firing.
The State Department’s decision to offer sanctions relief before Iran commits to ceasing its nuclear weapons work contradicts earlier promises from senior administration officials, including Blinken, who repeatedly vowed before Congress that he would not unwind sanctions as a precondition for talks with Tehran. That policy has already been reversed in the wake of talks with Iran and European powers this week in Vienna.
The administration’s unilateral actions to unravel sanctions also contradict Blinken’s sworn testimony before Congress in January, in which he promised to restore Congress’s traditional role in sculpting foreign policy. When the Obama administration first inked the 2015 accord, it bypassed Congress due to fears that lawmakers would not sign off on a deal that awarded Iran with billions of dollars in cash and legitimized its nuclear enrichment program. The Biden administration appears to be traveling down a similar path, despite promises otherwise.
And as the left hand of the Junta is loading up bundles of billions for the Burqawitz Brigade, the far left hand just stabbed the State of Israel in the face:
Biden State Department wonk Ned Price claimed at a press conference: "It is a historical fact that Israel occupied the West Bank, Gaza and the Golan Heights after the 1967 war.†Price thus signaled once again that Biden’s handlers plan to take up the Obama administration’s betrayal of Israel and support for the Palestinian jihad in a big way. "Palestinians†and their allies told Biden, Price, and the rest that their land was "occupied,†and that all that was involved was a simple land dispute, and they credulously believed. Mission accomplished. The Palestinians’ befuddled American benefactors will start writing checks shortly.
Kind of a sick irony that on Holocaust Remembrance Day, the United States is openly signaling that the State of Israel must withdraw to what is accurately labeled "the Holocaust border." And in that vein, bipedal chemical spill Malig-Nancy Pelosi opened her filthy sewer on that very subject:
